Welcome to Liberated Living!
Hi! My name is Kelly, and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Eating Disorder Therapist based in New York. With a B.A. in Psychology from Siena College and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Iona University (formerly Iona College), I’ve dedicated my career to helping people on their path to eating disorder recovery.
I understand how incredibly tough it can be to live a life you find worthwhile when you’re constantly bogged down with worry, fear, and self-hatred. Repairing your relationship with food and your body can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face these challenges alone. I am a firm believer that full recovery from an eating disorder is possible, and I’m here to help you every step of the way. I’d love the opportunity to get to know you, understand your struggles, and provide the support you need to take the next step towards healing and self-discovery.

Unlock Your Best Self!
At Liberated Living Therapy, my goal is to create a warm and inviting space where you can break free from the cycle of disordered eating and the inner battles that come with it. I understand that these struggles often go beyond food and can be deeply connected to your emotions, daily stress, and negative past experiences. A central focus of my practice is gaining a better understanding of the function behind destructive behaviors and discovering healthier ways to meet your core needs.
To do this, I use a client-centered approach, focusing on building a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings. My treatment plans are tailored to your unique needs, incorporating proven methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma-focused care.
In our sessions, you’ll not only gain a better understanding of yourself and your thought patterns, but also learn practical skills to manage anxiety, boost your mood, and improve self-care. Imagine feeling less anxious about meals, more at peace with your body, and able to enjoy social situations without stress or fear. Together, we can make progress toward a healthier, happier you, whether you’re addressing a specific issue, looking to maintain recovery, or exploring general personal growth.
If you’re feeling ready or curious to take the next step in your recovery journey, let’s schedule a call today!
