Welcome to Liberated Living!

Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m a Mental Health Counselor and Eating Disorder Therapist, licensed in both New York and Iowa. I specialize in helping people heal their relationships with food, their bodies, and themselves. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Siena College and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Iona University (formerly Iona College). For the past six years, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting adults through eating disorder recovery, body image concerns, and the emotional struggles that often accompany them.

I know how exhausting it can feel to live with constant worry, fear, or self-criticism, and how overwhelming it can be to imagine a different way forward. But recovery is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we can explore what healing looks like for you and work toward a life that feels more peaceful and fulfilling. I’d be honored to get to know you and support you on that journey.

Unlock Your Best Self!

At Liberated Living Therapy, my goal is to create a warm and inviting space where healing happens through connection. Struggles with disordered eating often go far beyond food. They’re deeply connected to emotions, relationships, daily stress, and past experiences. Therapy is about understanding these deeper patterns, uncovering the needs behind them, and discovering healthier ways to care for yourself.

Together, we’ll explore how your relationships—with yourself and others—shape your experiences. My approach is grounded in trust, openness, and meaningful conversation, creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. The work we do is tailored to your individual needs, helping you gain insight, build emotional resilience, and develop strategies to navigate challenges in a way that aligns with your values and goals.

In our sessions, you’ll gain insight into your struggles and develop practical tools to break free from harmful patterns, ease anxiety, and build self-compassion. Many people feel stuck in cycles of perfectionism and self-doubt, unsure how to move forward. Together, we’ll untangle these challenges so you can regain trust in yourself, feel more at peace with your body, and cultivate meaningful connections.

Imagine feeling calmer around food, more present in your relationships, and free from the weight of constant self-criticism. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge, maintaining recovery, or exploring personal growth, we will work toward lasting change and a renewed sense of ease in your life.
